TLDR: Turned 27, traveled 1 new country (borneo)

Travels

The highlight was probably traveling to new country BORNEO and seeing the monkeys

Jan : In January, I was in the Philippines. The most memorable part of the trip was when I went to the northern part of Manila and we hiked this volcano. That hill? That used to be a volcano. Here are some pictures of that.

Feb :

March : Started a new project that i would spend the rest of the year working

Spent most of the year in Bali/Bangkok

{insert all the travel pics here based on the dates they were taken}

Personal Highlights

Financially high I think this year the stock market did really well. So nothing much to say there but I was able to capitalize on a lot of the gains since a big chunk of the net worth is currently still in index funds.

Best shape in life The biggest thing I found that helps me with weight loss is:

Last year I lost a lot of weight but gained it back. So this year what I noticed is that having really healthy food habits helps a lot more than trying to do a crash diet. Since for me at least I just gained it all back.

Fitness metrics

The biggest hack I found is drinking protein shakes right after dinner instead of eating dessert. Earlier in the year I would just eat biscoff cookies for dinner after dinner and it was like a bad habit. So after I switched it off to just eating more protein, I noticed that the fitness metrics were a lot better.

Fitness progress

Ate the same thing, routine for 1-2 months at a time, and keep refining that routine everyday. The trick is to find fun in optimizng the little stuff in the routine, for example while I was living in Bali I made it almost a game to figure out when to call the Grab scooter after my workout (it would be right before I showered, but right before I got into the sauna.) by the time I got out of the shower, the Grab scooter would be waiting for me

Finance

What opinion do you have that make you go like this?

Probably one of my better decisions is to just literary spend less than 2 hours a year thinking about investment

Stack VTSAX (or any index fund) and invest all the time into 100x the ability to make more money.

Stuff like robinhood, polymarket, tiktok/ig/yt shorts are just terrible

I think the goal for this year will just be to spend as little time in investments as possible and just continue increasing cash flow from the businesses so that I can stock more VTSAX and try not to look at the stock prices too much.

One decision of the year: Stack more VTSAX, do not look at stock prices.

Fitness

  1. Find enjoyable stuff that can be spammed for multiple days

2)  Kinda successful diet

The hack is just getting a standing desk + treadmill.

Simplify to one decision

50% planned, 50% variance

Started with goals beginning of year, but totally changed but overall vision has been the same

What is one decision, if made this year, would help me achieve my goal? For me, it’s choosing the right offer and making the one critical hire or partner.

This year for fitness I just want to have more healthy eating goals. That means instead of crash-dieting and trying to gain a ton of weight, I want to just make sure whatever I'm doing is very sustainable. Even though it might not be the most optimal, having a cheat meal on Sunday or having the snack here and there, I think just making sure that directionally it's in the right direction. Just making sure whatever I'm doing is very sustainable at least for the long-term. So for the next 5-10 years, I can maintain this fitness lifestyle

The biggest hack maybe is just getting a tread mill desk that allows you to walk for 4-5 hours a day. The meta insight may be to find the one thing where it is possible to do effortlessly that still moves the needle even if its not the flashiest thing.

One decision of the year: Refine and spam same diet (5% cheat meals) have a walking treadmill

Business

Had decent year in business, biggest lesson learned, jsut keep spamming stuff that is working and stop wasting time on stuff not working..

Coding agents got a lot better

One decision of the year: focus on non-organic ways to scale (ads+sales calls), and either delete or automate with AI agents for the stuff

One decision of the year:

Lessons Learned

  1. Find the smallest thing to deploy : wasting weeks planning stuff out, doing stuff that isn’t related to actually do the thing.

I think this not only applies to business but also to any action in life. What I found is that deciding to do something is often a lot harder than actually doing it.

  1. Simple stuff to copy/paste ake this, like eating the same meal

Instead of trying to complicate stuff, I think it's a lot more effective to try to simplify it so that you only work on stuff that is the highest needle mover.

One framework I like is: If you could only make one decision, or one offer, or one hire, what would it be?

  1. Reduce hard costs (build internal API, find efficiencies) but spend money experimenting with AI tools that come

4)

Focus for 2026:

Scale out one Ads -> Sales Call -> SaaS funnel. This includes : mastering Meta Ads (or maybe Youtube Ads). Then Masterying how to hire/train/manage sales reps

2026 Focus

Things to cut out in the year : probably do more time audits of how I’m spending everyday then delete the stuff that is not giving a positive ROI.

Cut all social media (Twitter/Youtube), focus all energy into scaling up Ads and sales calls

if you made it this far, you a real one, thank u!! To a even better 2026 🥂

Thank you
